The crew behind Zamalek Montreal - Jules Leuba, Damarice de Richoufftz and Bashar Odeh - are brewing up craft hibiscus drinks based on traditional Egyptian Karkadeh 🌺. They completely skip the stale corporate formulas to build something real around clean ingredients, cultural roots, and active grassroots solidarity.

HOW TO MAKE THE SPICY GINGER FLASH BREW
THE BLUEPRINT FOR THE FLASH BREW

Use your go-to pour-over device.
Here we used a Chemex.

THE CHEMEX (FLASH BREW)
Dose: 40 g
Ratio: 12.5 : 1 *
Grind: Medium-coarse (similar to coarse sea salt/ raw cane sugar)
Water Temp: 93°C
⏱ : 4:30-5:00 min
Brew directly over the ice.

WHAT YOU NEED & METHOD
40 g Olame
230 g ice
270 g hot water
* Brew your coffee directly over the 230 g of ice.

HOW TO BUILD YOUR DRINK
50 g Olame flash brew
120 g Zamalek Sparkling Ginger Hibiscus

POP!
Fill a glass with ice and then pour in the cold Zam Sparkling Ginger Hibiscus.

POUR!
Top with the flash brew & give it a gentle stir.

REPEAT!
Down it, then do it again! 😎
