The crew behind Zamalek Montreal - Jules Leuba, Damarice de Richoufftz and Bashar Odeh - are brewing up craft hibiscus drinks based on traditional Egyptian Karkadeh 🌺. They completely skip the stale corporate formulas to build something real around clean ingredients, cultural roots, and active grassroots solidarity.

RECIPE: HOW TO MAKE YOUR DRINK

HOW TO MAKE THE CITRUSY UPLIFTING TONIC AT HOME:
THE BLUEPRINT FOR THE ICED AMERICANO

Use your go-to espresso setup, whether manual or semi-automatic.

ICED AMERICANO
Fill glass: 60 g ice + 60 g cold water
Dose: 18 g
Ratio: 2.22 : 1
Grind: Superfine
⏱ : 25 sec
Pull your espresso directly over the cold water and ice.

HOW TO BUILD YOUR DRINK
120 g Zamalek Iced Lemon Tea
80 g iced Mengeshe Americano (poured from the 160 g batch above)
4-5 large ice cubes to fill glass

POP!
Fill your glass completely to the top with ice and pour in the cold Zam Lemon Iced Tea.

POUR!
Top with the chilled Americano. Stir very gently.

REPEAT!
