We so happy to launch our first ever coffee(s) (see also the washed and natural) from Myanmar.

The Lady Specialty Coffee was created in 2017 by two leading lights of the Myanmar specialty scene, Su Nandar Linn and Thi Ha Gyawalie, to champion and support the women coffee farmers in Ywangan, southern Shan. All of their coffees are produced exclusively by women (from Pa-O and Danu ethnic minority groups).
Starting with 51 farmer partners, The Lady now operates in 7 villages and buys from 400 producers.

The Lady Specialty Coffee is founded on the deep desire to help small-scale families and communities within Ywangan with sustainable farming practices, quality control and fair pay. Su Nandar and Thiha train and support their all-female workforce in every aspect of coffee processing, and pay above average prices to farmers in nearby villages for their coffee cherries.

This beautifully syrupy honey processed coffee from Myanmar is such a smooth experience.

The brew reminded us a lot of a sweet vanilla and peach pie with a thick, brown sugar crust.
The mouthfeel and long aftertaste make this coffee a delight.

As an espresso with milk, we suggest a cortado for the perfect balance.

This is a carbonic maceration processed coffee. The cherries are placed in 500L one-way valve fitted fermentation tanks for 48 hours, before being pulped. The coffees are dried on raised beds for 12-15 days.
